Bauhaus Archive – Berlin

A museum about the Bauhaus School was designed by Walter Gropius back in 1964 and should have been built in Darmstadt, but local politicians prevented this. Berlin provided both money and space for the Bauhaus Archive museum, the construction was finished in 1979, but there was not much of left of Walter Gropius' original design except for the silhouette of the roof.

Wohnstadt Carl Legien – Berlin

The Wohnstadt Carl Legien (residential town Carl Legien) in Prenzlauer Berg is part of Berlin's UNESCO heritage site listed modernist housing estates. It was built from 1928 to 1930 based on plans from Bruno Taut und Franz Hillinger

Georgium – Dessau

While visiting the Bauhaus site in Dessau, Germany, we came across this palace and park called Georgium. It was built for Johann Georg von Anhalt-Dessau and has this incredible Ionic Temple, a Monopteros in it.
